Wednesday 13-08-2025
Al-Nassr's management is close to finalizing the contract with Saad Al-Nasser, the left-back of Al-Taawun, after Al-Qadisiyah withdrew from the competition to sign the player during the current summer transfer window, according to exclusive sources for "Al-Riyadiyah".

The sources indicated that the final agreement between Al-Nassr and Al-Taawun is nearing, with only a few minor details expected to be settled in the coming days. Al-Nasser, who is 24 years old, is known for his ability to play in multiple positions on both sides of defense.

The player participated in 41 matches in various competitions last season, scoring one goal and providing three assists, according to data from "Transfermarkt". Al-Nasser began his career in the youth categories at Al-Hilal before moving to Al-Taawun on loan in 2022, then signed a permanent contract with the latter in 2023.

In a related context, sources revealed that Al-Qadisiyah's management is pressuring Al-Nassr to contract with Abdulilah Al-Amri, but Al-Nassr's management rejected Al-Qadisiyah's offer, which amounted to 37 million riyals.

"Al-Riyadiyah" pointed out that Al-Ittihad club decided to abandon the idea of signing Al-Amri after his loan to the Jeddah club ended due to high financial demands, as Al-Nassr's management requested to raise his transfer price to 75 million riyals, instead of the 60 million that was previously requested, due to the recent increase in the prices of Saudi players.
