Flick Discusses with Deco the Possibility of Signing a New Defender

Barcelona's coach, Hans Flick, intends to meet with the club's football director, Deco, to discuss the possibility of signing a new center-back after Spanish defender Iñigo Martínez's move to the Saudi league.

Although Flick does not expect any new signings at the moment, his statement hints at a potential future possibility, as he said: "I will talk to Deco when he is here, and we will see, but for now, I don't think we will sign anyone."

Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Flick is waiting for Deco's return from a personal trip to Brazil to hold this meeting and discuss the transfer situation, especially given the club's financial circumstances that do not allow for new signings, as the team is still outside the 1-1 rule related to financial fair play regulations.

Additionally, several players have yet to be registered or obtain final approval from the financial auditor for the special seating deal.
