Al-Fateh Sets the Price for Al-Jlaydan and Al-Ittihad Approaches Signing the Player
The Saudi Al-Ittihad Club has made an official offer to sign Ahmed Al-Jlaydan, a player from Al-Fateh, as part of its efforts to strengthen the team during the current summer transfer window.
According to Saudi newspaper Al-Yawm, the offer from Al-Ittihad ranges between 50 and 60 million euros, in an attempt to persuade Al-Fateh's management to agree to sell the player this summer.
Sources indicated that Al-Fateh's management is inclined to accept the substantial offer, which could pave the way for Al-Jlaydan's transfer to the club during the current market.
Al-Ittihad's interest in Al-Jlaydan comes at the request of French coach Laurent Blanc, who is looking to bolster the right-back position following the exclusion of Fawaz Al-Suqour from his plans for the upcoming season.
Al-Ittihad hopes to complete the deal quickly to ensure the player's integration with the team before the start of the new season in the Roshen Saudi League.
