Al-Zawraa Announces Departure of Several Players

Al-Zawraa Club announced today the official departure of several of its players as part of a plan to restructure the team in preparation for the new football season. The outgoing list included a mix of professionals and prominent local names who wore the Al-Nawras jersey in past seasons.

The list revealed by the club includes: Ivorian striker Mamadou Soro, Omani Al-Mundhir Al-Alawi, defender Haroon Al-Zubaidi, defender Ali Kazem who officially transferred to Al-Talaba Club, Moroccan center-back Anwar Tarhat, as well as goalkeeper Saif Karim, midfielder Mohammed Redha, and goalkeeper Ali Faisal who transferred to Diyala Club, and midfielder Ali Mohsen who transferred to Al-Karama Club.

The list of departures also included midfielder Ali Hosni who did not get enough opportunities to participate, and left winger Tunisian Aziz Al-Shatiwi who had a somewhat acceptable season, in addition to center-back Mustafa Nazem who officially transferred to Amanat Baghdad Club.

These changes come as part of the management and coaching staff's efforts to make comprehensive adjustments to the lineup, aiming to strengthen the team with new elements capable of competing strongly in local and continental tournaments during the upcoming season, while expressing gratitude and appreciation to the departing players for their efforts and contributions throughout their time representing the club.
