Italian media reports that Como has made an official offer to sign Iñaki Peña, the goalkeeper of FC Barcelona, during the ongoing summer transfer window.

According to the website "Football Italia," the offer came on the sidelines of the friendly match that brought the two teams together on Sunday evening, as part of the preparations for the new season, where the Italian club expressed serious interest in acquiring the Spanish goalkeeper.

Peña, who is 26 years old, is under contract with Barcelona until June 2026, but his desire to play regularly is prompting him to consider leaving, especially with strong competition from goalkeepers Wojciech Szczęsny and Juan García.

The report indicated that Iñaki Peña is the only and primary option that Como is considering to strengthen the goalkeeper position, as the team seeks to enhance its competitive level in Serie A.

Peña had recently been linked with a move to Turkish club Galatasaray, where he previously played on loan before returning to Barcelona.
