Italian media reports have revealed that AS Roma has officially joined the list of clubs interested in signing Jadon Sancho, the Manchester United winger, during the current summer transfer window.

According to the 'Sport Italia' network, Roma's management has started taking actual steps to inquire about the terms of the deal, as the club aims to strengthen its squad with a standout attacking signing.

Sancho, who is 25 years old, has been linked with a departure from Manchester United this summer, after falling out of favor with coach Ruben Amorim, amidst interest from clubs such as Inter Milan, Juventus, and his former club Borussia Dortmund.

The report indicated that Juventus was close to signing the player, but negotiations stalled due to financial reasons. Meanwhile, Inter Milan is considering signing Sancho, especially given the uncertainty surrounding the future of Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman from Atalanta.

Manchester United values Sancho's sale at around 20 million euros, as it seeks to reduce the number of non-essential players within the squad.

It is worth noting that Jadon Sancho spent the 2024/2025 season on loan at Chelsea and is still under contract with Manchester United until the summer of 2026.
