Reports have emerged in the last few hours that Manchester City has identified a replacement for their star Jack Grealish, who is nearing a move to Everton during the current summer transfer window.

Everton has reached a final agreement with Manchester City regarding the loan of Grealish until the end of the current season.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City has placed Rodrigo, the winger from Real Madrid, on their list of interests to compensate for Grealish's departure, especially with the duo Savinho and James McAtee close to leaving the team this summer.

Romano clarified that potential negotiations will not be easy, as Real Madrid values their Brazilian player at around 100 million euros, which could pose a hurdle to completing the deal.

Rodrigo's chances of being a regular starter with Real Madrid next season seem limited due to the presence of both Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe, along with rising star Gonzalo Garcia.

The royal club has also recently strengthened its squad by signing Franco Mastantuono from River Plate, which further complicates Rodrigo's chances of securing a starting position in the team's lineup.
