Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the former Everton striker, continues his search for a new club after becoming a free agent following the end of his contract in the 2024/2025 season.

The 28-year-old player has decided to part ways with his agent to handle his transfer negotiations himself, with great anticipation regarding the possibility of joining Manchester United.

During the last season, Calvert-Lewin participated in 26 matches in the Premier League, scoring only 3 goals; however, there is still interest from major clubs in him after his impressive performances in previous seasons.

Manchester United was close to signing Calvert-Lewin for £50 million, but the deal for him to join the Red Devils now seems distant, especially after the signing of striker Benjamin Sesko.

If Manchester United wishes to acquire Calvert-Lewin, they may need to let go of one of their current strikers, with the possibility of Hojlund moving to AC Milan. Meanwhile, Newcastle or Aston Villa could be potential destinations for the English striker, while Sunderland has shown interest in acquiring him on a free transfer.
