Spotify Camp Nou Installing Benches
Spotify Camp Nou continues its renovation work at a steady pace, in preparation for the partial return of fans during the fourth round of the Spanish league for the 2025/2026 season, when FC Barcelona hosts Valencia in its first official match at home this season.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", new benches have recently been installed for the players of both teams, in a move that indicates significant progress in preparing the areas surrounding the pitch.
The seats designated for people with disabilities have also been completed, which are located behind the goal in the stands.
Barcelona plans to open the stadium to approximately 27,000 fans initially, starting with the main platform and the north goal areas, with plans to expand later to include the rest of the stands. The club has already obtained the necessary approvals from the Barcelona municipality to operate specific parts of the stadium, without the need to complete the entire exterior structure.
The Barcelona management will have to officially submit a completion certificate before informing the relevant authorities, including La Liga and UEFA, of its intention to return to play at Spotify Camp Nou, with a final decision expected to be made between August 18 and 24.
