Al-Hilal Officially Announces the Signing of Darwin Nunez
The Saudi Al-Hilal Club announced today, Saturday, its official contract with the Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez coming from Liverpool, in a permanent transfer deal during the summer transfer market of 2025, with a contract extending until the summer of 2028.
The announcement of the deal came through a promotional video published by the club on its official platforms, confirming the success of Al-Hilal's management in reaching a final agreement with Liverpool in the last hours to complete the player's transfer.
Although the club did not disclose the financial details, media reports indicated that the deal cost Al-Hilal around 53 million euros, in addition to performance-related bonuses and appearances.
Nunez will begin his journey with Al-Hilal directly in the preparatory camp taking place in Germany, in preparation for the launch of the new season 2025-2026, in line with the plan of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi to strengthen the attacking line.
Nunez is the second foreign signing that Al-Hilal has made this summer, following the signing of French left-back Theo Hernandez from Milan, with the contract coming after the failure to sign Nigerian Victor Osimhen, who later transferred to Galatasaray in Turkey.
