The Al Ahly Club officially announced the completion of the contract with the French international Enzo Milot, coming from Stuttgart, Germany, on a contract that extends for three seasons. This strategic move aims to strengthen the first team with distinguished foreign players who will support the coaching staff's options for the 2025-2026 sports season.
Milot is 23 years old and began his football career at the Monaco Academy before making his first-team debut in 2020. He then moved to Stuttgart in August 2021, where he established himself as a key player and caught the attention of major European clubs in Spain, England, and Germany.
Last season, Milot participated in 29 matches in the German Bundesliga, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists. He also played 8 matches in the UEFA Champions League, scoring 2 goals and delivering 3 assists, achieving a passing accuracy rate of over 85%, making him one of the standout attacking midfielders in the Bundesliga.
On the international level, Milot represented France's U16, U17, and U18 teams, and participated with the Olympic team (U23) in 8 matches, scoring 2 goals, one of which was in the final of the Paris 2024 Olympics against Spain.
The head coach Matthias Jaissle commented on the deal, saying: "Our signing of Enzo came after careful consideration; he is a player who combines technical quality and tactical discipline, coming from the German league known for its physical strength and high pace, which gives him the ideal readiness for our plans."
Milot began his journey to the Kingdom by visiting the "Shibara" resort in the Red Sea destination, where he enjoyed a luxurious Saudi hospitality experience with his family before joining Al Ahly's training in the coming days in preparation for the new season.
