The task of officiating the Al-Ittihad vs Al-Nassr match in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup has been assigned to a Saudi refereeing crew, for the match scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 19.

Hong Kong will host the tournament from August 19 to 23, featuring clubs such as Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli, and Al-Qadisiyah, in a version expected to witness significant excitement.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah", both clubs agreed not to request a foreign refereeing crew, opting instead for local referees to lead the anticipated classic match.

Neither club submitted an official request to the Football Association for the recruitment of foreign referees by the end of the specified deadline last Tuesday.

The regulations from last season, which apply to the current tournament, stipulate that a request for a foreign refereeing crew must be submitted 14 days prior to the match date.
