Mido Praises New Zamalek Duo
Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, praised the new Zamalek duo, Chico Benza and Adam Kaid, after the white team’s victory over Ceramica Cleopatra yesterday, Friday, in the league.
Zamalek won against Ceramica with a score of 2-0 yesterday, Friday, in a match within the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Mido said via his official account on the platform "X": "Good morning, it’s a morning of Zamalek’s great victory in their first match of the league this season against a well-organized opponent with a good group of players."
He added: "I liked Chico Benza yesterday; he is a player with personality and will develop more as he integrates with the team. I really liked Adam Kaid; he is a player with a nice touch, a skilled player who fits Zamalek well, and I liked that Zamalek is defending well, and the players are committed to their defensive roles and have the determination not to concede goals."
He continued: "When Zamalek is good, the Egyptian league has flavor. I’m not saying this because I’m a Zamalek fan; all Zamalek fans will continue to support Zamalek with their spirit and blood even if they are at the bottom of the league. I say this as a message to those who were trying to bring Zamalek down."
Mido concluded: "Zamalek will remain a great fierce competitor for all titles thanks to its great fans... Long live Zamalek."
