The Jordanian Trio of Al-Zawraa Arrives in Baghdad to Join the Team
The professional Jordanian trio of Al-Zawraa Club arrived in the capital Baghdad this Friday evening, coming from the Jordanian capital Amman, in preparation to join the team's training ahead of the upcoming football season.
Nizar Al-Rashdan, Rizq Bani Hani, and Abdullah Naseeb, who are key players for the Jordanian national team, landed at Baghdad International Airport after Al-Zawraa's management finalized the contract arrangements with them over the past few days, as part of the club's plan to strengthen its squad with high-quality foreign players.
Accompanying the three players on their journey to Baghdad was the club's administrative board president, Haider Shanshul, who had been in Amman recently to directly oversee the negotiation details and reach a final agreement with the management of Al-Hussein Irbid Club and other relevant parties, amid a mutual desire between the players and the club to complete the deal.
The new professionals are set to join the team's collective training starting from the next training session, as the coaching staff led by Abdul Ghani Shahed aims to prepare the new elements in the best technical and physical shape before the season begins.
Al-Zawraa fans are counting heavily on this trio, especially since each of them has an impressive international record and has previously competed in strong tournaments at the Asian level, which adds significant technical weight and great experience to the team seeking titles in the new season.
