Real Madrid Monitors Vitinha Ahead of Potential Signing

Reports have revealed that Real Madrid is keen on acquiring Portuguese midfielder Vitinha from Paris Saint-Germain to strengthen the team in the upcoming period, especially after the departure of Luka Modric to AC Milan on a free transfer in the summer of 2025.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Real Madrid has included Vitinha among its targets following his remarkable performance with Paris Saint-Germain last season and his contribution to the team's first-ever UEFA Champions League title.

The newspaper indicated that there is a release clause in Vitinha's contract that allows him to leave in the summer of 2026 for 90 million euros, although the French league regulations do not officially permit such clauses, agents and players have managed to circumvent this ban through specific legal formulations.

Vitinha, who is 25 years old, is contracted with Paris Saint-Germain until June 30, 2029, and is considered one of the most prominent midfielders in the Parisian team.

Despite the difficulty of completing the deal at the moment, Real Madrid officials recognize the importance of strengthening the defensive midfield position, and while action may not be taken this summer, the name Vitinha has become strongly mentioned, especially with the existence of a release clause that could facilitate the completion of the deal in the future.
