The Spanish newspaper "AS" reported that Barcelona's plan regarding English star Marcus Rashford has changed after the team's preparatory period, including friendly matches and intensive training under coach Hans Flick.

According to the newspaper, Flick now sees Rashford as the most suitable option to occupy the central striker position (number 9), even though the club originally signed him to strengthen the left-wing position.

This shift in Barcelona's plan reflects the player's flexibility and ability to adapt to the team's requirements, and it may grant him a pivotal role in Flick's project for the new season.

Rashford joined Barcelona during the current summer transfer window, coming from Manchester United on loan, with an option for a permanent purchase.
