According to the Spanish website "Fichajes", Real Madrid is seriously considering signing French defender Dayot Upamecano, a player for Bayern Munich, when his current contract expires in the summer of 2026, in a free transfer deal.

Upamecano is regarded as one of the names that impress the management of Real Madrid and the coaching staff, due to his physical and technical abilities, in addition to his experience in major European competitions.

So far, no official negotiations have taken place, but the royal club is closely monitoring the player's situation, preparing to act at the right time if he does not renew his contract with Bayern Munich by next summer.

It is worth noting that Ibrahima Konaté, the Liverpool star, is also among Real Madrid's targets, as his contract expires next summer.
