Reliable journalist David Ornstein reported that Chelsea has intensified its negotiations with Manchester United's management to sign the young Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho during the current summer transfer window.

According to the source, discussions between the two clubs began some time ago, but they have recently entered an advanced stage, following Manchester United's completion of the signing of Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško.

Ornstein confirmed that the young player is very eager to join Chelsea only, and therefore the deal is expected to be finalized in the coming days.

Manchester United is asking for more than £40 million in exchange for the young Argentine star.

It is worth noting that Garnacho is a product of the Manchester United academy, having played 114 matches with the first team, scoring 26 goals and providing 22 assists.
