Paris Saint-Germain Finalizes the Deal for Chevalier
Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain has reached a final agreement with Lille to sign French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, in a deal estimated at over 40 million euros.
Chevalier will join Paris on a five-year contract and is set to undergo medical examinations this week in preparation for the official announcement.
Several media reports have confirmed that Luis Enrique, the coach of Paris Saint-Germain, plans to rely on Chevalier as the starting goalkeeper for the next season.
The reports added that Paris Saint-Germain will work in the coming period to find a way out for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose contract expires in the summer of 2026.
