Media figure Ahmed Shobair revealed the position of Ahmed Nabil Kouka, Al Ahly player, following the failure of his move to Turkish club Qasim Pasha.

Shobair stated in radio comments that Al Ahly had reached a preliminary agreement with Qasim Pasha regarding Kouka's transfer, which included receiving an initial payment for the deal in August, with the second payment due in January or February, as the financial value of the deal is relatively small.

Shobair added: "Kouka is an international player, and there was a strong intention to complete the deal, but suddenly Qasim Pasha officials informed Al Ahly's management that they wanted to spread the payment over two years, which Al Ahly categorically rejected, considering that it does not align with the nature of the previous agreement."

Shobair pointed out that Al Ahly withdrew from the deal and confirmed that Kouka's agent stated that the player is now close to renewing his contract with the red team.
