Alaa Bahr Al-Uloom, a member of the new administrative body of the Police Club, responded to the news about the imminent signing of the Syrian star Omar Al-Soma, the former striker of Al-Orouba Saudi Club, during the current summer transfer period, confirming that the player is not part of the club's plans at the moment, and that the focus is on strengthening specific positions as requested by the coach.

He said: "The Egyptian coach Moamen Soliman has provided us with a clear vision regarding the needs of the team and requested the signing of two foreign players in the center of central defense and the center of the main striker."

He clarified: "We respect Al-Soma and his great history, but he is not in the Police's calculations for the upcoming season, and there are no negotiations with him at the moment."

He added: "The club has finalized the signing of Senegalese defender Dominic Mendy, as well as the signing of Brazilian Moses Lucas, and we are currently working on bringing in another foreign professional in the striker position."

He concluded: "We aim to build a strong team that competes locally and continentally, and the signings will be made accurately according to the requirements of the technical staff and the real needs of the team."
