Matthias Jaissle Grants Players a Break
Wednesday 06-08-2025
The German Matthias Jaissle, head coach of Al Ahli Saudi team, granted his players a four-day break after the delegation returned to Jeddah following the conclusion of the external camp held in Austria and then continued in Italy and Spain.

This decision by the coach is part of a mental and physical preparation plan for the players before returning to face upcoming challenges, foremost of which is the Saudi Super Cup, which will kick off later this month with the participation of four teams.

The sports newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" confirmed that the medical staff at Al Ahli prepared a special program for some players who are suffering from minor injuries, aiming to prepare them in the best possible condition before the anticipated official matches.

Al Ahli is scheduled to head to Hong Kong in the coming days in preparation for facing Al Qadsiah in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup, which is set to take place on August 19.

The winner of the Al Ahli vs. Al Qadsiah match will meet the winner of the Al Nassr vs. Al Ittihad match in the awaited Super Cup final, scheduled for the 23rd of the same month, amidst significant fan anticipation.
