Bayern Munich Finalizes Summer Transfer Deals
The German newspaper "Bild" reported that Bayern Munich has concluded its activity in the current summer transfer market after signing Luis Diaz from Liverpool, with one potential exception regarding the signing of striker Nik Vultmaid from Stuttgart.
The report clarified that Bayern Munich's management, led by CEO Christian Dresen and club president Herbert Hainer, held a meeting with Max Eberl, a board member for sports affairs, and Christoph Freund, the sporting director, to discuss transfer situations, where it was agreed that the club does not see the need for additional signings unless players are sold.
This summer, Bayern Munich signed Luis Diaz for over 70 million euros and also acquired German duo Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof on free transfers from Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim, respectively.
On the other hand, the team saw the departure of Thomas Müller, Leroy Sané, Mathys Tel, and João Palhinha, while Jamal Musiala is sidelined for an extended period due to a serious leg injury.
According to the newspaper, negotiations between Bayern Munich and Stuttgart regarding Vultmaid are still stalled, as Stuttgart rejected two offers from the Bavarian club, the latest of which was around 55 million euros, without entering into direct negotiations.
Reports confirm that Stuttgart will not consider the player's departure unless an offer of no less than 65 million euros is made, despite Vultmaid's desire to move to Bayern, knowing that his contract extends until the summer of 2028.
