Cisco Prefers Move to Manchester United
Sky Sports revealed that Slovenian striker Benjamin Cisco prefers a move to Manchester United, despite his club Leipzig receiving a higher financial offer from Newcastle United.
Leipzig is still considering the two offers from the clubs, with Manchester United offering £65 million, plus £8.9 million in add-ons, while Newcastle submitted a second offer of £69.7 million plus other add-ons.
Sky Sports clarified that Cisco is open to both projects, but he prefers to play at Old Trafford if he has to choose between the two clubs, and it is expected that the player's desire will determine his next destination, at a time when no official agreement has been reached yet.
The 22-year-old player missed Leipzig's friendly match against Atalanta and trained individually after informing his teammates of his desire to leave during the current transfer window.
