Get to Know the New Administrative Body of the Police Club

With wide participation and elections described as transparent, the Police Club announced the formation of its new administrative body during the elections held in the Cordoba Hall at the Al-Mansour Melia Hotel in Baghdad, in the presence of prominent official attendees led by the President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, Dr. Aqeel Muftin, the Prime Minister's Advisor, Mr. Iyad Binyan, and the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Captain Adnan Darjal, along with several heads of sports federations, and with the participation of 158 members out of 184 representing the general assembly of the club.

The voting results led to the victory of ten candidates who formed the new administration of the club, after they received the highest votes, namely: Ali Al-Shahmani, Alaa Bahar Al-Uloom, Adi Al-Rubaie, Wahab Al-Taie, Abdul Halim Fahim Al-Farhoud, Tahseen Al-Yasiri, Ghaleb Al-Zamili, Ihsan Ali, Mustafa Jabbar Alak, and Hussein Sabhan, while candidate Ghazi Faisal ranked as the first reserve after receiving only 89 votes.

Following the announcement of the results, the first meeting of the new administration was held, during which administrative positions were distributed, with Abdul Halim Fahim Al-Farhoud taking the position of club president, while Ali Al-Shahmani assumed the vice presidency, the secretariat was assigned to Alaa Bahar Al-Uloom, and the financial secretariat to Tahseen Al-Yasiri, while the council was completed with the membership of Ghaleb Al-Zamili, Ihsan Ali, Hussein Sabhan, Dr. Adi Al-Rubaie, Dr. Wahab Al-Taie, and Mustafa Jabbar Alak.
