Officially.. Al Hilal Fined Half a Million Riyals After Super Cup Crisis

The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation revealed the penalties imposed on Al Hilal Club after its refusal to participate in the Saudi Super Cup for the 2025-2026 sports season.

The Disciplinary Committee clarified that Al Hilal was found to have violated Article (59-3) of the regulations, and was obligated to pay a financial fine of (500,000) Riyals to the account of the Saudi Football Federation.

The Disciplinary Committee also decided, on Tuesday evening, to ban Al Hilal from participating in the Saudi Super Cup for the upcoming season 2026-2027.

The Disciplinary Committee also announced the deprivation of Al Hilal from any financial amounts allocated for the Super Cup for the 2025-2026 sports season, confirming that the decision is subject to appeal in accordance with Article (144) of the Disciplinary and Ethics Regulations.

It was also decided to obligate Al Shabab Club to pay a financial fine of (125,000) Riyals to the Saudi Federation after its refusal to participate in the Saudi Women's Super Cup, following the issuance of the official schedule for the competition.

The committee indicated that Al Shabab Club is banned from participating in the Saudi Women's Super Cup for the upcoming season 2026-2027, as well as being deprived of any financial amounts allocated for the same competition.
