Lookman Pressures for Departure from Atalanta to Inter Milan

Nigerian Ademola Lookman has taken a new step to pressure Atalanta's management to allow him to leave during the current summer transfer window, after emptying his personal belongings from his locker in the team's dressing room, according to Sky Sport Italia on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old player had submitted an official request to the club's management to allow him to move to Inter Milan, and he continued to miss the team's collective training for the second consecutive day.

Lookman had posted a statement on his Instagram account, accusing Atalanta's management of mistreating him on both a personal and professional level, affirming that they had broken their promises regarding his sale this summer.

For his part, Atalanta's CEO, Luca Percassi, confirmed that the club promised the player he could leave, but he pointed out that this promise did not include a transfer to a rival club in Serie A like Inter Milan.

It is worth noting that Inter Milan made an offer of 42 million euros, plus 3 million in variables, while Atalanta's management is demanding 50 million euros including bonuses.
