The Executive Director of Atalanta Responds Strongly to Lookman
Luca Percassi, the executive director of the Italian club Atalanta, made decisive statements revealing the club's stance on Ademola Lookman's request to leave officially, confirming that there is a "moral agreement" that was reached a year ago, and that the player does not have the right to break it now.
It is worth noting that 27-year-old Ademola Lookman has officially requested from Atalanta's management to leave the team this summer after the club insisted on not selling him to Inter Milan.
Percassi said: "The agreement with Lookman was made a year ago when we rejected a €20 million offer from Paris Saint-Germain. We told him then that we would allow him to leave in the summer of 2025, but only to a big club outside Italy."
He added: "Now the situation with Inter Milan is different and, as always, we are the ones who make the decision."
This statement is considered a direct response to Lookman's statement, in which he expressed his desire for an immediate transfer, raising the tension between the two parties.
