Burnley has completed the signing of Chelsea's young midfielder, Leslie Ogochukwu, during the current summer transfer window, in preparation for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.

According to what was revealed by The Athletic, Burnley has reached an agreement with Chelsea to acquire the 21-year-old player on a four-year contract.

Ogochukwu received permission from Chelsea's management to travel for medical examinations ahead of his transfer to Burnley.

The player had joined Southampton on loan from Chelsea in August 2024, participating in 31 matches across all competitions, during which he scored one goal and assisted two.

Ogochukwu is the 11th signing that Burnley has made this summer, following several notable signings, including defensive duo Kyle Walker and Axel Tuanzebe.
