After concluding Barcelona's Asian tour with a big victory over Daegu with a score of 5-0, Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo appeared before the media alongside coach Hans Flick, confirming his full commitment to his future with the Catalan club.

Araujo said in his remarks: "Of course. I am very happy at Barcelona. The fans have not yet seen the best version of Ronald, which will appear in the coming years."

Araujo added: "I am ready for that. Mentally I feel very confident, after losing some of it last season due to injury. This season I am extremely motivated."

Araujo will face strong competition for his starting position in the lineup with both Pau Torres and Iñigo Martínez, as Flick aims to create a solid defense that competes both locally and internationally.
