Palestinian Wissam Abu Ali, who recently transferred from Al Ahly to Columbus Crew, responded to rumors regarding the failure of his registration with his new team's roster, and the possibility of him going on loan to Pyramids or Turkish Trabzonspor.
Recent reports indicated that there is a crisis regarding Wissam's registration with Columbus due to the salary cap in the American league.
For his part, Wissam stated in remarks conveyed by the program “+90” aired on Al-Nahar channel, that he is still in Egypt spending his vacation on the North Coast.
Wissam added that he will head to Cairo within hours to follow up on the procedures for his travel to the United States to join Columbus.
The former Al Ahly striker continued, saying: “Everything said about my failure to register with Columbus is just a rumor, and the fans will see me next week in my new team's jersey.”
He further commented regarding the transfer to Pyramids: “This matter is not true at all, and I will be in the United States in a few days.”
