Monday 04-08-2025
Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported that young star Lamine Yamal is undergoing a special training program aimed at improving his performance with his right foot, as part of his ongoing efforts to develop his level and reach the highest degrees of technical perfection.

Yamal, who is 18 years old, is considered one of the most promising talents in world football, having in his record a UEFA European Championship, two Spanish league titles, a Copa del Rey, and a Super Cup, in addition to being a prominent candidate for the Ballon d'Or in the future.

The newspaper clarified that Lamine, who renewed his contract with Barcelona until 2031, is working diligently to enhance his use of his right foot, despite his remarkable distinction with his left foot. He showcased his skills during the team's Asian tour by scoring notable goals with his less powerful foot, indicating a clear improvement in this aspect of his game.

Coach Hans Flick is closely monitoring this individual program and has expressed his admiration for the noticeable progress the player has made, especially in shooting, dribbling, and building attacks using both feet, which gives him greater balance and harmony on the field.
