Al-Zawraa Club has started its official training in preparation for the launch of the competitions for the new season 2025-2026 of the Iraqi Stars League, at its training ground in the Shaljiya area of Baghdad, amid a positive atmosphere and great optimism among the players and coaching staff.

The first training session witnessed the presence of the new local players who the club has recently signed, while the foreign professionals were absent, as they are expected to arrive in the capital later, in preparation for joining the full training program of the team.

The coaching staff, led by coach Abdul Ghani Shahed, ensured to provide a comprehensive introduction to the players regarding the upcoming preparation plan and to outline the goals for the next phase, especially since the club's management aims to restore Al-Zawraa's prestige and compete strongly for the league title, in addition to presenting honorable performances in potential external commitments.

The team is scheduled to continue its training in Baghdad for several days before departing to one of the European countries for an external preparatory camp, which will include playing a series of friendly matches against various teams, aiming to raise the level of harmony among the players and to test the technical plans that the coaching staff relies on for the upcoming season.

These preparations come at a time when Al-Zawraa has made several important signings during the current summer transfer period, alongside establishing a new partnership with the Spanish company Kilmie to equip the team, as part of a comprehensive plan to renew the club's identity and make a strong return to the podiums of victory.
