The Moroccan internationals Mohamed El-Shaybi (Pyramids player) and Mahmoud Bentaik (Zamalek player) were awarded the titles of Best Right Back and Best Left Back respectively, during the Best Awards ceremony of the Egyptian Premier League for the 2024-2025 season, which took place last night, Saturday, August 3rd.

El-Shaybi continued to shine in the Pyramids jersey after delivering an exceptional defensive and offensive season, further solidifying his position as one of the best defenders in the Egyptian league, thanks to his decisive passes and crucial interventions at critical moments.

As for Bentaik, he marked a distinguished season with Zamalek, becoming the first choice on the left side and one of the key defensive and offensive playmakers for the White team, contributing to many crucial victories.

The ceremony also revealed the ideal lineup for the 2024-2025 season, which included a selection of the league's top stars, as follows:
