Qatari coach Talal Al-Balooshi officially began his duties as the head of the technical staff for the Iraqi Al-Student team, where he led the first training session for the team in the capital Baghdad, in preparation for the start of the Iraqi Stars League 2025-2026, amidst the presence of several new and veteran players who showed clear commitment despite the hot weather, indicating a strong desire to leave a positive impression on the new coach.

Al-Student Club had introduced its coach to the media in a recent press conference, during which Al-Balooshi expressed his happiness to undertake this experience with a prestigious club like "Al-Aniq", emphasizing that fan support will be a key element in achieving success.

He said:

"Before I am your coach, I am a brother to you inside and outside the field, and my door is open to everyone."

He added:

"Every player in the team has equal chances; there are no fixed stars and no guarantees for anyone. Whoever proves himself in training and shows outstanding performance will be part of the starting lineup; there is no room for favoritism."

Al-Balooshi was keen in his talk to the players before the start of the first training session to clarify his technical vision, and he confirmed that his task will not be easy in light of the fierce competition among major clubs like Al-Zawraa, Al-Shurta, and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, which have begun to strengthen their squads with heavy signings in preparation for the new season.

He clarified:

"We need to work harder, and everyone must commit and be disciplined, because the road to the top requires collective effort and daily perseverance."
