Informed sources revealed that the value of the offer amounted to 40 million riyals, but the management of "Faris Al-Dhahran" preferred not to accept it, insisting on receiving the amount in one payment without installments.

Al-Otaibi is considered one of the prominent elements in Al-Ettifaq's lineup, and he is distinguished by his ability to play in both right and left back positions, making him a target for several clubs.

Al-Ittihad club has shown interest in acquiring Al-Otaibi during the summer transfer period, but it has not yet submitted any official offer to Al-Ettifaq club for his services.

Al-Otaibi's contract with Al-Ettifaq extends until the summer of 2027, with a clause allowing the club to renew the contract for an additional season, and he played 29 matches last season across various competitions.
