
Officially.. Son Announces Departure from Tottenham
South Korean star Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur has announced his departure from the English club during this summer's transfer window.
Son said at a press conference: "I want to tell you that I have decided to leave Tottenham, the club is currently working to facilitate my exit."
He added: "This decision is the hardest decision I have made in my life."
He concluded: "I came to North London when I was a child, a boy who came to London and could not speak English, leaving this club as a man, thank you to all the Tottenham fans who gave me so much love."
Son joined Tottenham in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen, playing 454 matches with the English club, scoring 173 goals and assisting 101. He won the Europa League last season.
According to several media reports, Son is in advanced negotiations with Los Angeles FC to join them.
