Zamalek Loses to Proxie in a Friendly Match
Zamalek lost to their counterpart Proxie with a score of 3-1 in a friendly match held today, Friday, at the club's stadium in the administrative capital.
Proxie took the lead in the sixth minute, and Abdel Hamid Maali equalized for Zamalek in the last minute of the first half. Proxie added the second goal in the 63rd minute before scoring the third goal in the 85th minute.
The friendly match against Proxie is part of the technical staff's plan, led by Belgian Yannick Ferreira, to achieve the required technical and physical readiness before the start of the new football season.
Zamalek will meet Ceramica Cleopatra in the first round of the Premier League next Friday at 8:00 PM Cairo time.
