Real Madrid is getting ready to welcome its new player, Argentine Franco Mastantuno, in the coming hours, after his transfer from River Plate.

Radio "COPE" reported that the 17-year-old player will undergo a separate training plan, due to not reaching the legal age to train with the first team, starting his personal training on Monday, August 4, coinciding with the team's return to preparations.

Mastantuno is set to officially start his journey with Real Madrid on August 14, the day he turns 18, at which time his shirt number will be announced.

The royal club had previously announced that Mastantuno's contract would last for six seasons, from 2025 until June 2031.

The young player is the fourteenth to join Real Madrid after representing River Plate, and the fifth who trained at the Argentine club before moving to the royal team, following Di Stefano, Eduardo Anzarda, Oscar Mas, Javier Saviola, and Gonzalo Higuain.
