3 Names Competing for the Presidency of Al-Ahli
The nomination phase for the presidency and membership of the non-profit organization at Al-Ahli Club in Saudi Arabia has officially closed, after three electoral lists were submitted, led by Khalid Al-Ghamdi, Ahmed Al-Hosseini, and Ahmed Jannah.
Khalid Al-Ghamdi is seeking to secure a third term, having won in the 2024 elections and being endorsed in 2023, reflecting his desire to continue his project within the prestigious club.
Today, the process of examining the nominated lists begins and will continue until Tuesday, followed by a day designated for receiving objections, and then five days for them to be resolved by the relevant authorities.
The final lists are scheduled to be announced on August 12 of this month, while the General Assembly and voting procedures will take place the following day, August 13.
The winner will later be officially approved by the Ministry of Sports, leading to either a new administration or the renewal of confidence in the current one, amid great public anticipation of the election results.
