Crisis Between Mohamed El-Shenawy and Al-Ahly Coach Ribeiro
Former Egyptian football star Reda Abdel Aal revealed that there is a current crisis between Al-Ahly goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy and coach José Ribeiro.
Reda Abdel Aal stated in remarks through the "Ten" channel: "There is a current crisis between Mohamed El-Shenawy and the coach José Ribeiro, due to the latter's desire to rely primarily on Mustafa Shobeir in the upcoming period."
He added: "El-Shenawy held a meeting with Mohamed Youssef and clearly told him: I am the number one goalkeeper, and the Egypt Cup player was Shobeir, but the league and the African Champions League are mine."
He concluded: "From Ribeiro's perspective, Shobeir has deserved to be the first goalkeeper at Al-Ahly for the past three years."
