The administration of Al-Ahli Saudi Club has successfully reached a final agreement with its counterpart at Al-Ettifaq Club, which stipulates the transfer of right-back Mohamed Abdulrahman to the ranks of 'Al-Raqi' during the ongoing summer transfer period.

According to the details, the deal includes Al-Ahli paying an amount of 28 million Saudi Riyals to the Eastern club, in addition to including young midfielder Ziad Al-Ghamdi in a swap deal that will see him move to Al-Ettifaq permanently.

Al-Ghamdi is expected to quickly join the training camp of his new team located in Portugal, after completing all administrative and contractual procedures, with both parties set to officially announce the deal in the coming hours.

Mohamed Abdulrahman, who is 22 years old, is considered one of the most prominent local names in the right-back position, having participated in 28 matches last season wearing the Al-Ettifaq jersey, scoring one goal and providing an assist.

This deal is the second for Al-Ahli in the summer transfer market of 2025, following the signing of Abdulilah Al-Khaibari from Riyadh, as the club also renewed the contract of Ali Majrashi, reflecting its focus on strengthening the defense line with promising local elements.
