Talal Al-Balushi Reveals His Project with Al-Student Club
Al-Student Club introduced its new head coach Talal Al-Balushi today in a press conference held at the club's headquarters, attended by several journalists and representatives of the fans, in a move that confirms the new administration's direction to build a strong team that competes in all championships next season.
The Qatari coach, with extensive experience, spoke during the conference about his vision for the upcoming mission, revealing details regarding the assistant coaching staff and the goals for the next phase, indicating that hard work has already begun to build a team that meets the ambitions of the fans.
Al-Balushi said:
"The coaching staff that will accompany me will be present in the near future, and it is a fully foreign staff from outside Iraq, specifically from Croatia and Ecuador. This team has worked with me for the last two years, and they are an essential part of my technical project, as we have great harmony and understanding, and I am confident that their presence will be a strong addition to Al-Student."
Regarding the rumors about the possibility of Al-Student signing the international midfielder Amjad Atwan, Al-Balushi clarified:
"I definitely hope to have Amjad Atwan with us. He is a distinguished player and an important pillar in any team, possessing excellent technical and disciplinary qualities. I have coached him for three years, including two seasons in Zakho and one season in the Qatari league with Al-Shamal. I know well his capabilities and ability to lead the midfield, but the matter of signing him remains in the hands of the club president."
Al-Balushi confirmed at the end of the conference that Al-Student Club has a large fan base, and that this carries a doubled responsibility for everyone to provide a season worthy of the club's history and its fans, pointing out that technical and tactical work will begin soon with the completion of the coaching staff and determining the team's needs regarding local and foreign contracts.
