Anmar Al-Haili, the former president of Al-Ittihad Club, announced his withdrawal from the race for the presidency of the Jeddah club after a deep study of the current reality and the higher interest of the club.

Al-Haili had published on his account on the platform "X": "Dear loyal Al-Ittihad fans, esteemed members of the General Assembly, peace be upon you. Thank God, and after thinking and consulting with loved ones and wise individuals, and in light of the current circumstances that require a delicate balance between ambition and the public interest, with all appreciation and respect for the responsibility of serving this great entity."

He added: "I have decided to withdraw from the race for the presidency of Al-Ittihad Club after a deep study of the current reality and the higher interest of the club. The decision was not easy, but it stems from a firm conviction that the strength of Al-Ittihad lies in its unity, and that competition should not be a reason for the division of the golden stands."

He continued: "Our club today needs stability and support more than it needs a struggle for positions or titles. I would like to emphasize that my withdrawal does not mean a retreat, but rather a position and appreciation, believing that names may come and go, but Al-Ittihad remains with its men and fans."

He also expressed: "I cannot miss the opportunity to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the members of the board of the profit-making company, led by my brother Abdullah Al-Husseini, for their trust and cooperation, as well as to the esteemed members of the non-profit assembly, with whom I have personal relationships and friendships that I cherish."

He continued: "I congratulate my brother Fahd Sindi and all the candidates, and I ask God to grant success to whoever is chosen by the General Assembly and the company to serve Al-Ittihad as it deserves."

He added: "I would also like to extend special thanks to Captain Karim Benzema for his support and great trust in me and my ability to lead the team to achieve success, and I assure you that I will continue to support him and his fellow players and all the staff at the club, as they are an essential part of the future of Al-Ittihad."

He concluded: "Thank you to everyone who stood by me and supported me. To my board members and our loyal fans, I will always remain close to this entity, supportive, loyal, and loving. Let us unite for the sake of Al-Ittihad."
