Al Ahli Saudi Club has completed two significant local signings during the ongoing summer transfer window, strengthening its squad by signing the duo Saleh Abu al-Shamat and Mohamed Abdul Rahman, as part of the management's plan to support the team with distinguished elements.

The journey began with player Saleh Abu al-Shamat, who arrived from Al Khaleej Club, after Al Ahli's management reached an agreement with their counterparts at Al Khaleej for the player's transfer for 9 million Saudi Riyals in a direct and swift deal.

The Saudi sports newspaper revealed that the deal included Al Ahli's commitment to pay 3 million and 600 thousand Riyals to Al Qadisiyah Club, in accordance with a penalty clause in the player's contract when he transferred from Al Qadisiyah to Al Khaleej.

Saleh Abu al-Shamat delivered an impressive performance last season in the Roshen League, where he played 31 matches, scored one goal, and provided 6 assists. He is also a former graduate of Al Ahli Academy before moving between clubs.

As for the second deal, it involved the signing of Mohamed Abdul Rahman, the right-back from Al Ittifaq, for 28 million Riyals, in addition to Al Ahli's relinquishment of midfielder Ziad Al-Ghamdi to Al Ittifaq permanently.

Ziad Al-Ghamdi will join the Al Ittifaq camp in Portugal in the coming hours, while Mohamed Abdul Rahman is considered one of the most prominent defensive talents in the league, having participated in 55 matches since his rise to the first team.
