Former Zamalek Star Attacks Mamdouh Abbas
Ahmed Dweidar, the former Zamalek star, launched an attack on Mamdouh Abbas, the former president of the club, following his remarks about Ahmed Fattouh, the player of the white team, in which he confirmed his insistence on keeping the player, emphasizing his technical and leadership value within the team.
Dweidar said via Facebook: "My message to Mr. Mamdouh Abbas, you love Zamalek and have stood by the club many times, and you have all the respect and appreciation. Now there is a sports director working quietly. Your comments about Fattouh are illogical; even if he leaves and goes to Al-Ahly, what will we do? Will the club close down? Zamalek needs commitment, discipline, and quiet work to succeed in the upcoming period."
He added: "Zamalek is above any uncommitted player. Enough with the false reassurance that harms the team as a whole. If Fattouh commits, great, but if he doesn’t, he should leave immediately. The interest of the team comes above all else. All support to John Edward for his only correct decisions, and if there is a mistake, we will point it out, but it is the best start for Zamalek after the 2014-2015 season."
Dweidar concluded: "Zamalek will be the champion of the league and cup next season."
