Officially.. Al-Student Club Signs Ali Kazem Coming from Al-Zawraa
In a new step within its series of summer contracts in preparation for a fiery season in the Iraqi Premier League, Al-Student Sports Club announced the completion of the contracting procedures with defender Ali Kazem coming from Al-Zawraa Club, in a deal through which the management aims to strengthen the defense line with elements that possess great technical capabilities but did not get sufficient opportunities in the past season.
Ali Kazem, the defender who has a good physical build and the ability to play in more than one defensive position, did not have enough opportunities to participate with Al-Zawraa, as his appearances with the seabirds were limited to a very small number of matches, due to technical reasons related to the congestion of names in the team's backline, which made him seek a new experience that would grant him more playing minutes and bring him back into the spotlight.
It is worth mentioning that Kazem previously represented Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Club, where he appeared with the Hawks on several occasions and left a good impression about his abilities, before moving to Al-Zawraa, but that experience did not fulfill the expected outcome due to the fierce competition within the white team.
The signing of Ali Kazem is considered one of the deals that coach Talal Al-Balushi relies on to enhance the team's defensive system, in light of the comprehensive changes the club is making to its basic formation, as the elegant team seeks to return to the podiums after a long absence of more than two decades from the Iraqi league championship.
