Zamalek officially announced today, Wednesday, its contract with Mohamed Ismail, a player from Zed Club, for 5 seasons.

Ismail stated in remarks to the media center: "Negotiations began with my agent, who informed me of Zamalek's interest in signing me, and there was communication between John Edward (the sporting director of the White Castle) and the management of Zed Club to finalize the deal."

He added: "After Zamalek agreed with Zed's management on the details of the deal, John Edward contacted me to sign the transfer contracts."

He continued: "My primary goal was to move to Zamalek for its fans, and I see that playing for the White Knight is a step that any player wishes for, and I hope to make the fans happy in the upcoming period."

He pointed out: "The competition with his teammates in the team's defense will be tough due to the presence of senior players, and everyone serves the team's interest, and the best will participate in the matches."

He added: "I aspire to achieve championships with Zamalek, and to show our best level that meets the ambitions of the fans during the new season."

He concluded by sending a message to the fans, saying: "You always stand behind the club and the players, and you continuously support Zamalek, so we will do our utmost to make you happy in the upcoming period."
