The transfer file of Moroccan international Reda Slim, striker of Al Ahly Egypt, has entered its decisive phase, after the Cairo club received an official offer from Qatar Club to contract with the player during the current summer transfer window, as confirmed by his agent in media statements.

The agent confirmed that Slim is excited to embark on a new experience in the Qatar Stars League, pointing out that the deal is now linked to the approval of Al Ahly's management on the details of the offer, especially regarding the financial value.

Several Moroccan clubs from the professional league had shown interest in signing the player, including Royal Army, Wydad Casablanca, Raja Casablanca, and RS Berkane.

However, Al Ahly's demands prevented any agreement from being reached, as the club stipulated an amount close to $500,000 even for a loan, which the Moroccan clubs considered an unrealistic condition that does not align with their budgets.

Reda Slim has become outside the plans of Al Ahly's technical staff for the new season, which accelerates his potential departure in the coming days, amid the Egyptian club's efforts to reduce the number of foreign players and facilitate the registration of new signings before the start of the season.
