International media reports have revealed that Al-Ahli Saudi Club has entered into advanced negotiations with Moroccan star Bilal Al-Khanous, a midfielder for Leicester City in England, with the aim of signing him during the current summer transfer window.

According to the same sources, Al-Ahli has made an enticing financial offer valued at approximately $25 million, as part of an ambitious plan targeting the signing of between 6 to 8 new players to strengthen the team's ranks before the start of the 2025-2026 season, which includes the Roshan League and the AFC Champions League.

Despite the substantial offer, Al-Khanous expressed reservations about taking on a challenge in the Saudi league at this time, considering that continuing in Europe provides him with greater opportunities to develop his technical skills and remain in the spotlight on a continental and international level.

Al-Khanous, who is 21 years old, is one of the most prominent rising Moroccan talents, and his name has gained significant attention since his participation with the Atlas Lions in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He is also expected to be among the key players for the national team during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, in addition to his aspirations to participate in the 2026 World Cup.

Since joining Leicester, Al-Khanous has played 15 matches, providing 3 assists, and achieving a successful passing rate of 88%, which has helped him gain the trust of the coaching staff in record time.
